Calories in Tofu Shirataki “Spaghetti” Noodles (House Foods)
Tuesday, February 24th, 2009Shirataki are very low carbohydrate, low calorie, thin, translucent, gelatinous traditional Japanese noodles made from the konjac plant. These are packed in liquid, and should be rinsed, then par-boiled/microwaved, then dried. They have little flavor on their own, but when added to dishes, can serve as that pasta you’ve been craving on a carb-conscious diet.

Cream Cheese
Eggs
Splenda
Directions:
3 8oz cream cheese - softened
3/4 cup of Splenda
3 eggs
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Mix cream cheese, splenda, with electric mixer until well blended.
Add eggs.
Mix until blended.
Spray shallow baking pan with anti-stick spray.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Cut into bars and enjoy as a snack.
(can add whip cream to top for that extra sweetness)
(can add a little lemon juice to the mix for lemon bars)
